Education

Education is one of the key themes of the Snail Wood project and we're all very keen that the wood should be of as much use to our local schools and children as possible.

We're working with a number of local schools from the start of the project in order to maximise the educational value of Snail Wood. More details of this work will be made available as soon as possible.

Logo Competition

One of our first activities with a local school was running a competition for the children of Fordham primary school to design our logo, 10 year old Hana Regan won with this logo.

You can read more about this competition and see a few of the entries on the Logo Competition page.

Biodiversity Study

A biodiversity study has been carried out by a sixth form student from Thurston College. You can read more details of the study here. We're hoping to make this type of study a more regular occurence.
